"account": "This week, streaming services are offering a diverse array of new movie releases. On PVOD, Saoirse Ronan stars in the darkly funny thriller \"Bad Apples,\" where a school teacher locks a disruptive student in her basement. The movie struggles to progress beyond its initial setup but features a strong performance from Ronan.\n\nIn another PVOD release, \"Resident Evil\" delivers an intense and fast-paced action-horror adaptation of the survival horror series. Austin Abrams plays a courier tasked with delivering medical supplies to a hospital overrun with mutated creatures. The film leans heavily on comedy but is still a blockbuster the series has long deserved.\n\nRobert Pattinson stars in \"Primetime,\" a psychological thriller about controversial TV show host Chris Hansen. The biopic examines Hansen's obsession with ratings and unearthing immoral sexual deviants. Directed by Lance Oppenheim, the film offers a bold perspective on the show and its viewers.\n\nMahershala Ali stars in the action-thriller \"Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother,\" where a devoutly religious contract killer balances his work, faith, and fatherhood. When his wife dies, he must protect three children from the consequences of his murderous profession. The movie received a high rating on Rotten Tomatoes and is described as an \"inventive and tonally unique action flick.\"\n\nThe holiday season kicks off with Netflix's family-focused comedy-drama \"A Dog's Perfect Christmas.\" Based on W. Bruce Cameron's novel, the movie features Dennis Quaid, Milo Ventimiglia, and Jennifer Tilly. Quaid plays a new character as the wise basset hound, Winstead, guides the Goss family through a challenging holiday season. The film airs on Netflix starting November 4.",
