"account": "The Southeast Brigade of the General Operations Force (GOF) made significant strides in combating cross-border crime, recording 1,493 cases between January and November. The force's operations culminated in 1,733 arrests and the seizure of goods amounting to over RM82.56 million. Commander Datuk Ahmad Radzi Hussain credited the team's diligence and efficiency for the success, highlighting their commitment to safeguarding national security and sovereignty. Recognizing the evolving tactics of cross-border criminals, the GOF has bolstered its intelligence capabilities and heightened officers' awareness of emerging threats. Ahmad Radzi emphasized the necessity of anticipating threats by tracking pattern shifts and modus operandi changes. He stressed the importance of battalions assessing their operational areas, pinpointing high-risk zones, and continuously updating intelligence to ensure effective prevention and risk assessment operations. In addressing illegal immigration, the GOF took a proactive approach, moving beyond arrests to dismantle syndicate networks and safeguard migrants' movements from detection. By yesterday, 921 undocumented migrants from various nationalities had been detained, with the majority in Kelantan (802), Pahang (104), and Terengganu (15).",
