"account": "In the race for the U.S. Senate in Michigan, Bruce Springsteen has come out in support of Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, a Democratic nominee. In a recent Instagram post, The Boss shared his endorsement, stating that El-Sayed is \"a fighter for our American Constitution\" and \"a fighter for our American Democracy, and he’s a fighter against the corrupt, lawless, and anti-American leadership currently in the White House.\"\n\nThe endorsement comes as the race between El-Sayed and Republican Mike Rogers heats up, with a Democratic victory in Michigan being crucial for the party's efforts to gain control of the Senate. This past week, Michigan Rep. Haley Stevens reversed her earlier support for El-Sayed and endorsed Rogers instead. As a result, the Michigan Democratic Party chairman Curtis Hertel announced that Stevens is no longer a member of the party.\n\nBruce Springsteen, known for his vocal political opinions, has been a vocal critic of Donald Trump. The musician has used his recent Land of Hopes & Dreams tour as a platform to express his political views, stating, \"This was the show I wanted to make, the story I wanted to tell.\" Despite facing criticism for his political stance, Springsteen remains committed to his beliefs, as he told Rolling Stone, \"I do what I want to do.\"",
