"account": "The Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) has defended its claim of working with Lebanese authorities on a recent cocaine seizure at Beirut International Airport, despite the Lebanese agency not mentioning Ghana’s involvement in its public statement. Alexander Twum-Barima, Deputy Director-General for Enforcement, Control, and Elimination at NACOC, clarified that Ghana's participation in the operation was confirmed by a letter from an unnamed foreign law enforcement partner congratulating NACOC. Twum-Barima stated that the letter acknowledged their contribution but suggested that their involvement should not be disclosed in the media for undisclosed reasons. He emphasized that their focus was on the results achieved, not the recognition received from the media, and promised further developments from the ongoing collaboration.",
