"account": "Nigeria's Super Falcons football team have received compensation equivalent to $100,000 per player, along with $50,000 for their coaches and officials, fulfilling President Bola Tinubu's pledge following their victory in the 2025 Women's Africa Cup of Nations. The sports commission announced the payment on Monday, stating the federal government had honored the President's commitment after the team's record-extending 10th WAFCON title. The players had previously received documentation for their three-bedroom apartments in Abuja and certificates for the national honor of Officer of the Order of the Niger. The NSC Chairman, Shehu Dikko, thanked Tinubu for honoring his promise and commended the team's achievement, emphasizing the significance of the timely recognition for Nigerian sports. The payment came after cooperation between the NSC and various ministries, marking a departure from previous instances where athletes had to wait years for promised benefits.",
