"account": "The 2026 CAF Women’s Champions League saw the Ampem Darkoa Ladies deliver an electrifying opening match as they triumphed 5-1 against Mali’s USFAS Bamako. The Ghanaian champions took the lead just 12 minutes into the game, with Oumou Kone scoring a swift goal that made the score 1-0. However, the Malians quickly responded, leveling the score through a deft finish from Oumou Kone after just 12 minutes. Ampem Darkoa Ladies rose to the challenge, drawing level again through Angelina Yeboah, who found the back of the net with a close-range finish after connecting with Nancy Amon’s shot. Patricia Agyei then put Ampem Darkoa Ladies ahead with a stunning goal, making the score 2-1. Despite Amoh and Agyei’s valiant effort, the match ended 2-1 at half-time. In the second half, Amoh narrowly missed out on a goal for Ampem Darkoa Ladies after it was disallowed for offside. USFAS Bamako also had a goal ruled out for handball in the buildup. Yeboah found the net once again to make it 3-1, followed by another goal shortly after. Amoh sealed the victory with a solo strike, giving the Ampem Darkoa Ladies a 5-1 win and securing the top spot in Group B for their upcoming match against Kawempe Muslim Girls.",
