"account": "The Nigerian Army and Department of State Services (DSS) have successfully thwarted a kidnapping attempt in Nasarawa State. Suspected kidnapper Mukaila Iliyasu was apprehended while attempting to collect a N200,000 ransom from a female resident in the Eggon Local Government Area. The operation, conducted by Sector 2 of the Joint Task Force Operation Whirl Stroke and DSS personnel, was initiated following intelligence reports on October 29 indicating Iliyasu's intentions. A soldier reportedly went undercover to facilitate the arrest, recovering the ransom money believed to be the sum demanded by the suspect. The military described the successful intervention as a testament to the importance of inter-agency cooperation in combating criminal activities. Iliyasu has been turned over to the DSS for further investigation and potential prosecution. The Force Commander of Operation Whirl Stroke praised the professionalism and coordination of the security forces involved, emphasizing the need for continued collaboration to protect lives and maintain peace in the region.",
