"summary": "The African Democratic Congress (ADC) South-West has dismissed allegations of an internal crisis within the zone, reaffirming its support for candidate Atiku Abubakar for the 2027 general elections. In a statement issued on Monday, the South-West National Vice Chairman Akin Omole and six state chairmen affirmed there was no rift or division within the party, emphasizing their unity in supporting Atiku. The leadership reiterated their confidence in Aregbesola's role in coordinating political efforts across the South-West, explaining that meetings were held to discuss strategies for strengthening the party's structures and securing electoral victories. The party also rejected claims that a virtual meeting with Atiku on September 5, 2026, was held to resolve an alleged crisis, stating that such reports were fabricated and aimed at sowing discord.",
