"account": "Andrea Kimi Antonelli achieved a historic milestone by becoming Formula 1's youngest world champion at just 20 years old. Competing in third place behind Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton in the chaotic Mexico City Grand Prix, the Mercedes driver secured his maiden Drivers’ World Championship with four races remaining. This victory shattered the previous record, set by Sebastian Vettel in 2010, by over three years. Antonelli's rise to the top of the sport was made possible through a decade-long investment by Mercedes, beginning when he was scouted at 11 years old and integrated into their junior program. Despite a challenging rookie season marked by both flashes of speed and costly errors, Antonelli's mastery of the 2026 regulatory changes proved crucial. His ability to navigate the new chassis designs and complex electrical energy management systems allowed him to excel in corners while managing tire wear. Antonelli's defensive driving, showcased at Monaco where he defended his lead over Hamilton, solidified his championship lead. Throughout the 2026 season, he demonstrated remarkable resilience, bouncing back from practice crashes and qualifying errors to deliver a standout performance at his home race in Monza, starting from 19th position and clinching victory against all odds. Supported by Mercedes leadership and his own race engineer, Antonelli's rapid development and adaptability have set a new benchmark for young drivers in Formula 1.",
