This facility is available throughout the province, and transporters can verify driver details at relevant traffic offices. The Traffic Police urges transporters to conduct thorough driver background checks before hiring them and to prioritize hiring fit and well-trained drivers. In the first half of this year, there has been a 35% decrease in fatal accidents on roads under the Punjab Traffic Police's jurisdiction. Muhammad Waqas Nazir, a spokesperson for the Punjab Traffic Police, emphasized that the agency continues to take proactive measures to prevent accidents and safeguard lives.
