"summary": "The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced disciplinary measures against two teachers at the Twene Amanfo Senior High Technical School in Techiman following a viral video that captured an alleged assault of a male student. The teachers, who were Masters on Duty, are to be reprimanded, removed from their positions, and referred for guidance and counselling alongside the affected students. Dr. Issahaque Munwaru, Deputy Director-General in charge of Quality and Access at the GES, disclosed these measures in an interview on Joy FM’s Super Morning Show. The incident, which involved the teachers allegedly assaulting students after discovering they were bullying their colleagues and extorting money from them, is considered professional misconduct under the GES Code of Conduct.",
