"account": "Le Monde reports that Russian and Ukrainian intelligence agencies, not U.S. first lady Melania Trump as previously claimed, negotiated the humanitarian mission to evacuate civilians from Oleshky, a city in the conflict-ridden Kherson region of Ukraine. The operation, which involved the evacuation of around 700 people, was carried out under the White House's auspices. While Melania Trump expressed concern for the city's residents, Ukraine's source suggests that her role may have been more symbolic, as Kyiv and Moscow likely wanted to garner Trump's favor.",
"summary": "Russian and Ukrainian intelligence services prepared the mission to evacuate civilians from Oleshky, in the Kherson region, but presented it as the result of mediation, sources told the French newspaper Le Monde.",
