"account": "Former Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Yousuf has advised Babar Azam to seek specialized coaching abroad in England or Australia to improve his batting technique and restore his form. Yousuf cautioned the batsman against playing first-class cricket until he addresses his technical weaknesses, warning that continued struggles could harm his confidence and career trajectory. \"I don’t think Babar Azam should be playing first-class cricket until he fixes his technical issues through specialized coaching. Struggling in domestic cricket could further harm his confidence and career,\" Yousuf posted on X. He urged Babar to train at a cricket academy in England or Australia, emphasizing that he remains Pakistan's top player who could return to his best with proper guidance. Yousuf reiterated his previous call for assistance four years ago, urging others to heed the advice now. The former batter’s comments follow Babar’s disappointing performance in the recent ODI tri-series against England and Sri Lanka, where he scored 118 runs in five matches at an average of 23.60. Babar failed to register a half-century, scoring 45, 34, 10, 29, and a duck, including a duck against Sri Lanka in the final. He has struggled for consistency in ODIs, scoring only one century since his 151 against Nepal in September 2023. Babar ended a two-year century drought against Sri Lanka in November 2025 with his 20th ODI hundred but has not scored a half-century since then. Babar is scheduled to play for Lahore Whites in the 2026-27 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, which starts on November 3, facing Shaheen Afridi’s FATA at the Diamond Cricket Ground in Islamabad.",
