"account": "In a shocking case that came to light in 2024, a 51-year-old man from Singapore raped his 15-year-old daughter before surrendering to the police. The incident occurred on August 10, 2024, when the father confronted his daughter about the cleanliness of their home, becoming enraged and violently assaulting her. The next day, when the father went to wake his daughter, he found her unresponsive and proceeded to molest and rape her. The victim, fearing further anger from her father, did not react. After the assault, the father went to shower and the victim sought help at the Choa Chu Kang police station. Upon realizing his daughter was missing, the father went to the police station and saw his daughter sitting inside, leading him to surrender himself after changing into jeans. The man pleaded guilty to rape, outrage of modesty, and criminal breach of trust, and was sentenced to 14 years in jail, with four months serving as caning due to his age. In addition to the criminal charges, he was found guilty of embezzling money from his employer while serving as the general manager of the company.",
