"account": "On Monday, dozens of robots scaled Mount Tai, one of China's most revered peaks, as part of the World Mountain Robot Challenge. The 3.9km course, featuring over 600m of ascent, tested the endurance and capabilities of these advanced machines. Organized by the state-run China Media Group, the competition aimed to assess how well robots could navigate challenging terrain and carry delicate items like eggs and watermelons to the summit.\n\nThe UNESCO World Heritage site, known for its historical significance and mythological importance, became a stage for futuristic technology. However, not all robots proved to be up to the task. A humanoid robot, dressed in a bandana, collapsed on the cobblestone path before receiving repairs from engineers. Another canine robot, created by Beijing Lingyi Technology, a subsidiary of Unitree, emerged victorious in the speed category, completing the race in 43 minutes and 41 seconds.\n\nThe race highlighted the rugged nature of Mount Tai's rocky terrain, which organizers deemed a \"natural extreme testing ground\" for real-world robot application. Special cash prizes were awarded to winners in various categories, including the fastest robots and the most efficient load-carrier for the four-legged machines.",
