"account": "Mexico City – In the aftermath of the Mexico City Grand Prix, Mercedes driver George Russell was granted permission to skip his post-race media obligations. Team principal Toto Wolff revealed that his young British teammate was visibly distraught following his sixth-place finish, despite starting on the front row. The 20-year-old Kimi Antonelli secured the Formula One championship title, making him the sport's youngest champion. Russell's poor performance on the opening straight led to a 10-second penalty for colliding with Red Bull's Isack Hadjar. Wolff expressed his empathy towards Russell, acknowledging the immense pressure he faced after a season where Mercedes had the car's pace but failed to capitalize on it in the crucial first corner. Both Russell and Antonelli are now positioned fourth and third respectively in the drivers' standings, with Verstappen from Red Bull leading the championship.",
"summary": "Russell was Antonelli's closest rival before Sunday's race, albeit 123 points behind, but slipped to fourth in the drivers' standings.",
