"account": "Hill s Pet Nutrition has introduced upgraded formulations for senior pet food in Hong Kong, utilizing ActivBiome+ Multi-Benefit technology. This technology supports digestive health and overall well-being in mature and senior pets by incorporating prebiotics for both dogs and cats, which nourish beneficial gut bacteria and maintain a balanced gut microbiome. The company collaborates with veterinarians and pet care professionals to promote nutrition education and encourage owners to include nutritional management in their pets' preventive healthcare plans from an early stage. Hong Kong cat owners spend an average of HK$2,062 per cat each month, reflecting a growing investment in pet healthcare and nutrition. As pets age, they may experience increased digestive sensitivity, reduced activity, changes in immune function, and greater burden on the kidneys. Hill s recommends consulting veterinarians to determine the appropriate diet based on a pet's age, breed, lifestyle, and health status. Prebiotic fibres in Hill s cat and dog food formulations help support the immune system and maintain a balanced gut microbiome, which is crucial for defending against external pathogens and maintaining overall health.",
