"account": "Montreal witnessed a thrilling conclusion to the ISU Short Track World Tour as Felix Roussel, Steven Dubois, Mathieu Pelletier, and Maxime Laoun claimed the gold in the 5,000m men's relay. The Canadian foursome executed their race plan flawlessly, with Dubois making numerous strategic passes to gain position. They maintained their lead after both the Netherlands and South Korea faltered without contact eight laps into the relay. The Canadian team finished the 48-lap marathon in 6:59.327, surpassing China (7:01.305) and South Korea (7:06.217) on the podium. The Canadians were joined by China and South Korea on the podium, with France's Xandra Velzeboer securing the final gold medal in the women's 500m race. Pelletier achieved his first individual medal, earning a silver in the 1,000m race. The Ice Maples currently lead the ISU Team Crystal Globe rankings with 1,836 points, followed by South Korea and the Netherlands.",
