"account": "Michael Mann, a renowned director behind critically acclaimed films such as Heat and Collateral, experienced a minor mishap at a gun range in Los Angeles on Saturday. The incident occurred when a weapon accidentally discharged while being holstered, leading to a superficial injury for the 83-year-old filmmaker. An official statement disclosed that Mann was treated and is set to be released from the hospital. The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed receiving a call about a \"shots fired\" incident around 4pm local time, later determining the event to be accidental. Mann, known for his expertise in handling firearms and for the realistic gunplay in his movies, has a prolific filmography that includes Thief, The Last of the Mohicans, Public Enemies, The Insider, and Ali. However, he is perhaps most famous for Heat, a crime thriller starring Robert De Niro and Al Pacino. The film's climactic scene involves Pacino outmaneuvering De Niro in a dark airport runway standoff. Mann's latest project, the biographical drama Ferrari, featuring Adam Driver, is set to begin filming next year, with plans for a Heat sequel already underway.",
