"summary": "The All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council and the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential campaign council have disagreed regarding President Bola Tinubu’s performance in the power sector. According to Punch, the ruling APC maintained that the president's campaign promise of providing stable electricity is still on course.\n\nHowever, the ADC presidential campaign council challenged the APC to hold the president accountable for failing to fulfill his 2023 electricity pledge. Punch Nigeria reports that the ADC recalled a campaign statement in which Tinubu told Nigerians not to vote for him for a second term if he failed to deliver electricity during his first four-year tenure. ADC Director of Media and Publicity Kola Ologbondiyan stated that the party views the APC's attempts to reinterpret the president's remarks through selective quotations as an effort to escape accountability.",
