"summary": "The Ukrainian Air Force stated that the Air Alert app was likely subjected to hostile interference late on November 1. The hack triggered sirens across the country, including in Zakarpattia Oblast, and sent false notifications to users' phones. These alerts included warnings of a radiation threat in Kyiv, a nuclear alert involving \"Oreshnik,\" a chemical threat, and reports of street fighting in the capital.\n\nThe Kyiv Independent reported that the app was developed through a collaboration between the Digital Transformation Ministry and Ajax Systems. Following the false alerts, a series of all-clear messages were sent to users. Several regional governors also addressed the incident, with Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Governor Svitlana Onyshchuk reporting a cyberattack on the notification app, while Vinnytsia Oblast Governor Natalia Zabolotna warned of a possible phishing operation and advised residents not to click on links in messages.",
