"account": "Opposition parties RJD and JSP are calling for the disqualification of two recently elected Independent Members of the Legislative Council (MLC) in Bihar, Rahul Raj and Banshidhar Brajwasi, for allegedly joining the BJP. The opposition seeks intervention from the Bihar Legislative Council chairman to address the matter.\n\nBoth MLCs had defeated the Janata Dal-United candidates in their respective constituencies, yet they now claim to have merely offered their support to the BJP. The parties argue that this action violates India's Anti-Defection Law, which prohibits individuals from joining a different political party after being elected.\n\nThe Bihar BJP had initially confirmed that both MLCs had joined the party, sharing pictures of membership receipts. However, following a controversy, both MLCs denied joining the party, stating they merely offered their support. The opposition parties have warned that if no action is taken regarding the disqualification, the situation could escalate into unrest.",
