"account": "Last night, the Saturday Night Live (SNL) show was hosted by Inde Navarrette, a star of the Obsession series, with musical guest Gracie Abrams. The evening started with a surprise appearance from Tom Hanks, who reprise his role as David S. Pumpkins, a character he originated ten years ago. The opening segment transformed into one of the recurring Trump freeze-frame sketches, with James Austin Johnson portraying the president, talking about his \"gay dementia.\" Saidah Belo-Osagie played Nicki Minaj, while Veronika Slowikowska took on the role of Katie Zacharia, Trump's temporary press secretary. Gracie Abrams, who is a second-time musical guest, performed two new songs - \"Hit The Wall\" and \"Here You Come, There You Go,\" featuring on the deluxe edition of her album Daughter From Hell. For the first song, she dressed as Juliet, and for the second, as Romeo, from Baz Luhrmann's 1996 adaptation of Romeo and Juliet. Navarrette referenced Shane Gillis' controversial joke from his previous monologue, though her reaction was less severe than the UK version of SNL, still emphasizing the importance of not overlooking such remarks. Slowikowska returned in the second half of the show, this time playing Kelly Clarkson alongside Grace Reiter's bird automaton. Mikey Day also brought back his character of the Drunk Uncle during the Weekend Update segment about the World Series. Finally, players from the Milwaukee Brewers, Christian Yelich, Brice Turang, and their manager Pat Murphy, joined the show with their championship trophy. Over the weekend, SNL UK uploaded their pre-taped performance of Cher's Witch Project episode, originally hosted by Cynthia Erivo. The week ended with the most anticipated music stories and the less significant music memes.",
