"account": "France launched an attempted murder investigation on Sunday following petrol bomb attacks on security forces during Paris protests, according to prosecutors. Footage of a security officer engulfed in flames sparked outrage. The Paris police prefecture reported several hundred rioters attacking security forces with projectiles, including a Molotov cocktail. The officer struck by the Molotov cocktail suffered second-degree burns and said his unit was under attack with glass bottles, paving stones, shards of glass and firebombs. He mentioned that the flammable substance spread across his skin, making it feel as though he had been coated by the heat. No suspects have been arrested yet, and investigators are working to identify those responsible. The protests follow weeks of unrest over soaring living costs, with presidential elections approaching in six months. Presidential candidate Marine Le Pen vowed to punish those responsible \"with the utmost severity.\"",
