"account": "The Director General of Prisons in Odisha, Susanta Kumar Nath, has been accused of sexually harassing a subordinate woman officer. The state government has transferred him to the Home Department while an investigation is conducted. The alleged victim, a 41-year-old jailor, claimed that Nath asked her to allow his friend Kuldeep Rath to visit her while she was posted at Choudwar Circle Jail. Rath allegedly began contacting the woman in July 2025, sending her suggestive messages after she declined his invitations for dinner and a party. The complainant alleged that after refusing the unwelcome advances, she was falsely implicated in a prisoner escape case. She was suspended from her duties in February 2026 and had her subsistence allowance withheld for six months before being released following intervention by the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights. The investigation is being conducted by Inspector Bikash Sethy at Choudwar police station.",
