"account": "The Lewiston Bengals concluded their first state tournament appearance in ten years with a fourth-place finish and a sportsmanship award in Saturday's 5A Idaho volleyball tournament. They lost 25-20, 25-16, 19-25, 25-21 to the Bonneville Bees at Post Falls High School. The Bengals' first-season coach Marie Huffman was thrilled with how the team performed, noting their ability to peak at the right times and reach the state tournament. Seniors Avery Balmer and Emery McKarcher, who led the team in kills, digs, and assists respectively, had their final high school match. The Bengals' fourth-place finish earned them a trophy and the sportsmanship award, recognizing the team's good conduct. The Bengals had previously swept Bonneville in the opening round and bounced back from a grueling loss to Pocatello to reach the semifinals. This marks the Bengals' first state tournament victory since 2016.",
