"account": "In the early days of Greyston Holt's career, he made guest appearances in various fantastical shows before landing the role of Detective Hudson Riley in Neagley. One such show was Syfy's Bitten, based on the Women of the Otherworld novel series by Kelley Armstrong. The story revolves around Elena Michaels, the world's only known female werewolf, played by Laura Vandervoort. Holt played the role of Clayton Danvers, the protective second-in-command of Elena's werewolf pack, who was responsible for biting her. Their relationship was rocky, and her werewolf transformation set the tone for their romance. Before his screen test for the role, Holt said he went hiking to the edge of the wilderness, stripped down naked, and ran through the forest howling to connect with the raw, true spirit of nature. Holt praised Bitten for its unique focus on family loyalty and the chemistry he shared with Vandervoort. However, not all critics agreed, with some finding the show lacked bite and having simplistic dialogue. Despite the mixed reviews, the show gained a loyal fan base, with an average audience score of 69% on Rotten Tomatoes. Following Bitten, Holt continued to appear in TV shows like The 100, Batwoman, Riverdale, and The Night Agent before landing his starring role in Neagley.",
