"summary": "British police reported on Sunday that 325 people were arrested during a mass protest in London the previous day. The demonstration took place outside the US embassy in support of Palestine Action. According to the Metropolitan Police, 320 of these arrests were for expressing support for a proscribed organisation under the Terrorism Act.\n\nThe protest occurred ahead of a two-day Supreme Court hearing starting Wednesday regarding the UK government's July 2025 decision to outlaw Palestine Action. Free Malaysia Today reports that the group was designated a terrorist entity by the US in August. Under the British designation, membership in or support for the group is a crime punishable by up to 14 years in prison. Campaigners and police tallies indicate that more than 4,000 people, including Holocaust survivors and senior citizens, have been arrested for showing support for the group.",
