"account": "Two AAP MLAs from Punjab's Patiala district have resigned from the party following the release of its first candidate list for the 2027 Assembly elections. The resignations occurred a day after the Aam Aadmi Party announced its initial 40 candidates. Both MLAs were associated with Samana and Sanour constituencies respectively. The resigning MLAs, Chetan Singh Jouramajra and Harmeet Singh Pathanmajra, took their respective actions through a resignation letter and a social media post. The Party has yet to officially announce its candidates for these constituencies.\n\nPathanmajra, a former MLA, had raised concerns over the management of his government. His resignation came after he was arrested for allegedly misrepresenting himself in a relationship and later marrying someone while still married. Pathanmajra is currently in jail in an alleged money laundering case. Additionally, issues related to government employees and pensioners have resurfaced ahead of the 2027 elections, posing challenges for the AAP.",
