"account": "Washington - Tech-billionaire Elon Musk has once again poured hundreds of millions of dollars into influencing the outcome of a US election. As of preliminary figures, the world's richest person has already donated the record amount of more than $440 million through various channels. The full sum will only be known after the voting ends on Tuesday. Musk, known for his right-leaning political views, is primarily trying to prevent the Republican Party from losing control of the US Senate. A significant focus of his efforts is on the state of Texas, where his companies and himself now reside. Musk, with an estimated fortune of $865 billion, primarily in SpaceX and Tesla shares, benefits primarily Ken Paxton, the Texas Attorney General who is now aiming for a Senate seat. The 63-year-old Paxton, who won the Republican primary against incumbent Senator John Cornyn, is a difficult candidate. A prosecutor under investigation for alleged dubious stock transactions.",
"summary": "During the hot phase of the US congressional election, the world's richest man became a record donor to Donald Trump's Republicans - primarily in Texas, which is important to Musk.",
