"account": "PETAJALIA: MCA president Wee Ka Siong expressed puzzlement over DAP secretary-general Loke Siew Fook's call for a debate on their respective achievements as transport ministers. The challenge followed Wee's proposal that candidates from both parties contesting the Melaka state election engage in a debate. Wee raised questions about the relevance of the debate, stating it had little bearing on him. He also dismissed Loke's accusations of being a bully and using Leng Chau Yen's speech impediment against her. Loke had previously challenged Wee to a debate on transport issues, but Wee stated he had never done so. He added that comparing their achievements in the ministry would be unfair due to the differing circumstances during their respective tenures. Wee served as transport minister from 2018 to 2022, while Loke held the position from 2018 to 2020 before being succeeded by Loke upon the collapse of the Pakatan Harapan-led federal government.",
