"account": "Police are investigating the brutal murder of 27-year-old Carlton Naidu in Phoenix. The victim was allegedly chased, attacked, and stabbed to death on Strandbrook Road in Brookdale. His family claims witnesses saw him being chased before he was attacked. Naidu's body was discovered with multiple stab wounds on the same road at around 3:45 PM on Wednesday. It is believed that he was seated on the steps of a tuckshop on Cardham Road, eating chips, when he was ambushed by three men. Carlton's uncle, Shaldon Naidoo, reported that witnesses saw Carlton running away from the attackers after the chase on Cardham Road. Upon arriving at Strandbrook Road around 4:10 PM, he found Carlton's body lying between the pavement and the road. The police and family members were present at the scene. Naidu suffered seven stabs to the heart, cuts on his back, an arm, and a gash on his temple as if he had been hit with a brick. Naidoo emphasized that it was a brutal attack, seemingly aimed at silencing his nephew. He further explained that Carlton was well-known in the neighborhood, often seen at the tuckshop asking for odd jobs or money to purchase items. His sister, Desreen Naidu, expressed her heartbreak over her eldest son's death. A SAPS spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Paul Magwaza, confirmed that police were actively investigating the case of murder.",
