"summary": "The Perak branch of the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) has received 25 complaints in the past month over suspected contamination of RON95 petrol with water, believed to have occurred in fuel storage tanks. Director Datuk Kamalludin Ismail stated that the complaints originated from five districts in Perak: Kinta, Kuala Kangsar, Taiping, Parit Buntar, and Manjung. The ministry has conducted inspections and collected samples for analysis by the Department of Chemistry Malaysia, but the results have yet to be received. Kamalludin advised affected consumers to retain relevant documents and evidence to support claims through the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia (TTPM) or the civil courts. Meanwhile, the Pink 5KM and Purple Fun Run 2026 event in Perak aims to raise awareness about breast and gynaecological cancers, with proceeds from registration fees going to various charitable causes.",
