"account": "Alex de Minaur clawed his way to victory over world No. 1 Alexander Zverev in a marathon three-set marathon at the Vienna Open, earning his place in the tournament final where he will face rising star Carlos Alcaraz. Zverev, who had previously clinched his place at the top of the rankings earlier in the week, was held to a 6-4, 1-6, 7-6 (7/4) defeat by the Australian. De Minaur's service struggles in the fifth game of the match allowed Zverev to take the first set, but the German's momentum was short-lived as De Minaur held his nerve in the tense final set. Zverev faltered in the tiebreak, falling 6-2 behind, before De Minaur put the match to bed on his third match point after a grueling 2 hours and 31 minutes. Speaking after his win, De Minaur reflected on his composure during the match, saying he played aggressive tennis on his own terms. In the final, Alcaraz, who has now gone 15 matches unbeaten at ATP 500 events, beat Daniil Medvedev 6-4, 7-6 (7/2) in a fast-paced 1hr 36min contest. The match marked the seventh time on tour that De Minaur and Alcaraz have faced off, and the third time in a championship match. De Minaur's win has lifted him into qualifying spots for the ATP Finals in Turin, while Medvedev's fifth consecutive run to the last four of a tournament still secured him a spot in the season-ending event.",
