"account": "Despite my professors potentially not being thrilled about the extent of AI's involvement in my study routine, I've come to realize that AI can be an invaluable tool for learning when used correctly. This realization came after two years of experience.\n\nWhile I firmly believe in not relying on AI to do assignments or blindly copying chatbot responses, I find AI immensely helpful in tackling difficult concepts, making sense of lengthy lectures, and preparing for exams. NotebookLM, particularly its Audio Overviews feature, has been my preferred study tool thus far. This feature transforms lecture notes, textbooks, and study materials into engaging podcast-style conversations between AI hosts.\n\nRecently, I've been experimenting with ChatGPT Dots, a new AI tool launched by OpenAI at its DevDay conference. Unlike traditional ChatGPT conversations, Dots are always-on AI agents designed to proactively assist you, manage ongoing tasks, and even perform work without constant input from you. Dots can initiate calls and engage in natural, back-and-forth conversations, much like NotebookLM's Voice Chat. However, Dots can also take it a step further by researching additional information online and generating study materials, such as condensed study guides and practice quizzes, without you having to manually switch to different modes or panels.\n\nWhat sets Dots apart from NotebookLM is its ability to maintain context about your study habits, upcoming exams, and other commitments. With Dots, I can simply start a call and ask for assistance, and it already has the necessary context, unlike NotebookLM where I'd need to provide additional details. Additionally, Dots can personalize the learning experience based on my preferences and learning style, as I've noticed it grasps practical concepts more quickly compared to theoretical material.",
