"account": "More than 100 demonstrators were arrested outside the US embassy in London on Saturday while supporting Palestine Action, a group proscribed by authorities in June 2025. The protest took place in Nine Elms, south-west London, with many participants holding signs that read \"I oppose genocide, I support Palestine Action.\" The Metropolitan Police reported arresting 139 people, with more expected throughout the day for expressing support for the proscribed organization. Expressing support for Palestine Action is an offense under the Terrorism Act. One protester climbed a tree outside the embassy, waving a placard and chanting \"God help us. Teachers who support Palestine. Palestine Action.\" The protest was organized by Defend Our Juries and took place before an appeal at the Supreme Court against Palestine Action's designation as a terror group. Defend Our Juries spokesperson stated that arrests on Saturday brought the total number of people detained for defying the ban to over 4,000 since July 2025.",
