"account": "The Chicago Bears recently acquired defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons from the Tennessee Titans in a significant trade. However, they were not the only team to show interest. According to sources, at least three other teams, including a division rival, inquired about Simmons before the Bears made the deal. The Ringer's Tom Pelissero reported that the Jacksonville Jaguars were among those teams that reached out to the Titans. Despite this, the Bears decided to trade for Simmons, sending first-round picks in 2027 and 2028, plus a 2027 fourth-rounder, to the Titans. In return, the Bears received Simmons and a 2028 fifth-round pick. This trade marks the first time in the common draft era that a defensive tackle was traded for multiple first-round picks. The 29-year-old Simmons, who was recently signed a three-year, $105.8 million extension with the Titans, had an impressive 2022 season with 11 sacks, 17 tackles for loss, and 60 quarterback pressures. The move is seen as a response to concerns about the team's pass rush, which has been weakened by the suspension of Montez Sweat and Dayo Odighibo's injury.",
