"account": "US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has stated that President Donald Trump has not yet decided to launch new military strikes against Iran, despite ongoing negotiations for peace talks. Speaking at a press conference in Atlanta, Georgia, Rubio emphasized that military action is an option if pursued, but noted that Trump has not made a decision on further military operations following the midterm elections. The US secretary of state reiterated the administration's preference for diplomacy to resolve tensions with Iran, while condemning Tehran's \"actively and openly\" targeting of commercial vessels. Iran's supreme leader has warned the US and Israel against initiating new attacks, following threats to resume strikes after the midterm elections. EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas echoed calls for a diplomatic solution, emphasizing that escalation would not benefit anyone.",
