"account": "The Ghana Education Service (GES) has initiated an investigation into a video circulating online that allegedly depicts two teachers at Techiman Senior High School (SHS) physically assaulting a student. In a press release on Saturday, October 31, 2026, the Service identified the teachers involved as Mr. Jerry Jones Owusu Bekoe and Mr. Adusa Ameyaw. The statement, authored by the Head of Public Relations, Daniel Fenyi, revealed that the school's disciplinary committee had conducted an initial hearing into the matter.\n\nThe committee's findings are anticipated to be presented to the school's management by the Regional Directorate in the days ahead, which will inform subsequent actions and decisions. The affected student, Seedorf Abeka Ampah, a final-year Agricultural Science pupil, received medical care and is reportedly responding well to treatment, according to the GES.\n\nThe Service has implored the public to maintain composure as the investigation unfolds, stating that the committee's findings will guide the school's management in determining the appropriate course of action. The culpability of the teachers in this alleged incident remains undetermined, and the GES is poised to decide on any disciplinary measures following a thorough review of the committee's report.",
