"summary": "The Minerals Income Investment Fund (MIIF) has initiated a five-year project to restore 50 hectares of degraded forest at the Subri River Forest Reserve in Sekyere Krobo, Western Region, in partnership with the Forestry Commission and Zijin Golden Ridge Ghana. The Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Biodiversity Reforestation Project aims to promote environmental sustainability and strengthen biodiversity conservation in Ghana's mining regions. MIIF CEO Justina Nelson emphasized the importance of preserving Ghana's natural heritage, stating that the success of the project will be measured by the extent to which the forest is restored and protected over time. The Forestry Commission will provide technical expertise and implementation support to guide the rehabilitation process and promote long-term survival of the restored forest.",
