"account": "FromSoftware has temporarily suspended multiplayer features in Dark Souls 2 and 3 due to an undisclosed server issue, as reported by Eurogamer. This decision was announced on October 30 via their X account, and the closure applies to all platforms for each game. The company stated that they would provide an updated timeline for server restoration once more information is available. This isn't the first time FromSoftware has faced such an issue; in early 2022, a remote code execution vulnerability was discovered in all Dark Souls games, leading to the shutdown of PC servers for months. However, this time, the problem is limited to Dark Souls 2 and 3, and it affects all platforms instead of just PC, suggesting that the issue may be less severe and easier to resolve. On a positive note, PC players can still enjoy Legend modder Yui's Seamless co-op series, which runs on its own servers, ensuring that the party continues through mods and separate from the official FromSoft servers. Dark Souls 2 Seamless Co-op officially launched at the end of September, offering shared progress and eliminating disconnects during boss fights or player death.",
