"account": "Accra Hearts of Oak interim leader Vincent Sowah Odotei has lambasted the Ghana Premier League for its lackluster entertainment offerings, which he believes is responsible for the league's dwindling attendance. The GPL has been plagued by sparse crowds at matches, which has had a detrimental impact on both club finances and the overall success of the competition. According to Odotei, fans are avoiding stadiums because the league is failing to deliver the entertainment that entices supporters to engage with football. \"Our football is not fit for purpose. Our football is not entertaining. In football, we're not in the business of football; we're in the entertainment business through it,\" he stated in an interview with JoySports. Odotei pointed to former Hearts of Oak players Shamo Quaye and Ablade Kumah as examples of stars who drew fans to the stadium. \"People came to watch Hearts of Oak because of Shamo Quaye and Ablade Kumah. They came from Tema, their community. You go to Newtown, Anas Seidu. You go to Mamprobi, Stephen Appiah and co. That's where they come from,\" he noted. \"We don't have that in our football. We are not providing the entertainment, so naturally, people will go to leagues that provide entertainment.\"",
