"account": "Memorial girls soccer took home the IHSAA 2A state title on Saturday, October 31, by defeating Guerin Catholic 3-0 at Michael A. Carroll Stadium. The Tigers' victory marked their seventh IHSAA state championship, placing them second all-time behind only Carmel. Coach Angie Lensing achieved her sixth title, securing the second-best all-time record in Indiana high school soccer. Memorial's tournament dominance was evident with 43 goals scored across seven victories, only conceding a solitary goal in the regional championship via a penalty kick. The Tigers dismantled five ranked opponents on their way to the championship, capitalizing on a mistake in the first half to score the first goal. Courtney Traylor, a freshman, scored the second goal with 19 minutes left in the match after collecting a goal kick and finding the empty net. Ava Voelkel secured the third and final goal with a corner kick strike just over five minutes from the end. This season, Memorial's seniors totaled seven, with key players at every position. Traylor, one of Indiana's top players, returns after a stellar junior season where she netted 37 goals and provided 21 assists.",
