"summary": "Cove is a calm, local-first Manifest V3 new tab extension for Firefox that replaces the new tab with a workspace, newsroom, offline reader, Pomodoro timer, and procedural focus sound. The extension is designed to provide a quiet and distraction-free browsing experience for users who open their new tab multiple times a day. Cove is built using Svelte 5, TypeScript, Vite 6, and Tailwind CSS, and has zero runtime dependencies. It stores data in chrome.storage.local and IndexedDB, and does not require an account, analytics, or server. Cove is available for Firefox through the Firefox Add-ons, and can be manually installed on other browsers such as Chrome, Brave, Arc, Edge, or Zen.",
