"account": "Indiana's football team prepares for their homecoming game against Minnesota following a convincing 13-6 win over Michigan last weekend. Currently, the Hoosiers hold a 7-1 record overall and 4-1 in Big Ten play, trailing only the undefeated UCLA Bruins and 6-1 Ohio State Buckeyes. Head coach Curt Cignetti spoke with College GameDay, addressing comparisons between their starting quarterback, Josh Hoover, and former Indiana and Las Vegas Raiders star Fernando Mendoza. Cignetti acknowledged that comparisons are likely due to Mendoza's Heisman Trophy win and Indiana's perfect 16-0 national championship season under his leadership. However, Cignetti highlighted Hoover's progress, noting that the fifth-year senior has done well in protecting the football and has been on track for a strong season. Mendoza, who led Indiana to victory in 16 games during their perfect season, holds the program's all-time records for passing yards and touchdowns. Hoover, a fifth-year senior transferring from TCU, has completed 62% of his passes for 1,741 yards and 18 touchdowns in seven games, including one interception. Despite an arm injury suffered against Ohio State, Hoover maintained his performance in Indiana's recent win over Michigan. Looking ahead, Indiana will have a bye week before hosting USC, traveling to Washington, and facing their rivals, Purdue, in their next home game in Bloomington.",
