"account": "Two young men, Peter Nchor Asadigina, 21, and Mudasel Dramani, 19, have been apprehended in connection with the murder of a female tricycle rider and theft of her vehicle in Bono East Region, Ghana. The men were arrested on October 30 at Hansua, following a tip-off from an informant.\n\nPreliminary investigations indicate that the suspects hired the deceased to transport them from Ampabame Lorry Station in Kumasi to Afrancho on October 29, 2026. Upon arriving at Afrancho, the pair allegedly assaulted and killed the rider before fleeing with her green Bajaj tricycle.\n\nThe suspects were apprehended while on the move towards Techiman, where they planned to use the stolen tricycle for commercial purposes. A search of their hideout yielded several items linked to the crime, including a number plate with registration M-26-AE 2047, eight mobile phones, including an iPhone 12 Pro belonging to the deceased, three SIM cards, and an MTN MiFi device.\n\nAdditional items recovered included a set of keys, two lighters, and a jackknife cover. The deceased's body has been taken to a mortuary for preservation and autopsy. The investigation is ongoing, and both suspects are currently in police custody, co-operating with the ongoing probe. The Ghana Police Service remains dedicated to upholding public safety and ensuring that those responsible for criminal acts are held accountable.",
