"account": "On Saturday, the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) informed Major League Baseball (MLB) that they would like to post Korean league slugger Roh Si-hwan. Roh currently plays for the Hanwha Eagles, who requested his posting earlier in the day, prompting the Korean league office to notify MLB of Roh's availability. As part of an agreement between the two leagues, once Roh is officially posted, any of the 30 MLB teams have a 30-day window to negotiate a contract with him. This notification period starts at 8 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) the day after MLB clubs are notified, and concludes at 5 p.m. ET on the 30th day. In 2023, he hit his career-high 31 home runs and 101 RBIs in 131 games, finishing as the runner-up for the regular-season MVP award. The previous season, Roh managed 6 homers and 59 RBIs in 115 games.",
