The identities of the deceased and the exact casualty figures have not been verified.\n\nIn a separate development in Zamfara, Commissioner of Police Muhammad Bello confirmed the rescue of three of six Islamic clerics who were kidnapped on September 12 while traveling to Talata Mafara. The rescue was achieved through a joint operation involving the Nigeria Police Force, the Department of State Services, and the Office of the National Security Adviser. Security operatives are continuing efforts to rescue the remaining three clerics.\n\nThe Delta State Police Command arrested four suspects linked to armed robbery and cultism during operations in the Ughelli and Umunede areas.
