"account": "Montreal police report that an 18-year-old cyclist was killed in a hit-and-run accident in the city's Ahuntsic neighbourhood on Friday afternoon. According to early reports, the driver fled the scene before emergency responders arrived. Quebec's police watchdog agency stated that the vehicle was being pursued by an unmarked provincial police patrol car just prior to the collision. The patrol officers had reportedly observed the driver committing a possible violation of road safety laws. The cyclist was pronounced dead at the intersection of Henri-Bourassa Boulevard and Jeanne-Mance Street around noon. The police investigations bureau has launched an investigation into the incident.",
