"account": "The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has officially established its North-West Campaign Council as part of its strategy to bolster structures and coordinate mobilization in preparation for the 2027 general elections. This move came after a meeting at the Giginya Hotel in Sokoto, where party candidates and stakeholders gathered to harmonize positions and develop a unified strategy. Alhaji Nuradeen Lawal Chindo was elected chairman of the council, while Dr. Bello Shehu was appointed secretary. The newly formed North-West Coordination Council (NWCC) will oversee campaign activities across the seven states in the North-West region, led by Chindo with Dr. Shehu serving as secretary. The inauguration, presided over by Hon. Bala Sani Kumo, the Deputy Director-General (North) of the ADC Presidential Campaign Council, emphasized the importance of an inclusive campaign structure, specifically targeting the participation of youths, women, and persons with disabilities. The ADC remains committed to a people-driven campaign focused on good governance, peace, and sustainable development.",
